May-Retta Daze

Based on guidance and information from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the Georgia Department of Public Health (DPH) and out of an abundance of caution for the health of our staff and community ALL Special Events have been suspended or canceled until further notice.

We are taking these precautionary measures to keep our staff, community and those most vulnerable safe and healthy. 2020 continues the Music Festival featuring live music throughout both days by many local artists performing on the Glover Park stage! (Musicians apply below.)

May-Retta Daze is a two-day art, crafts & music outdoor festival held annually, the first weekend in May at the Historic Marietta Square. The festival features exhibitors and artists showcasing handmade goods including painting, pottery, woodwork, metal, glass, fabric, soap, candles and more. In addition to a wide variety of arts & crafts, the Music Festival will showcase various live acoustic musical performances from local artists throughout both days. There is something for everyone with festival food, kid's zone and live music. Bring the entire family to shop, relax and soak up the sounds on the Marietta Square.

Saturday Night Concert featuring Chris Stalcup & The Grange

Chris Stalcup & The Grange is a Georgia born and bred Roots-Rock band that has shared the stage with Shooter Jennings, Lucero, .38 Special and more. The release of 2014's "Dixie Electric Company" put the band on the map of the Americana and Alt-Country music scene. With their critically acclaimed sophomore effort in 2016, "Downhearted Fools" on DirtLeg Records the band received Press putting them in the company of Chris Stapleton, Sturgill Simpson and Jason Isbell. With a diehard following built from several years touring the Southeast, the band is poised to release their 3rd album this year.  stalcupgrange.com

Concert Information and Table Reservations

  • Concert is FREE and begins at 7:00 p.m.
  • Limited number of tables may be reserved for a fee on April 8, 2020 at 8 a.m. Table for six, $55 | Table for eight, $65
  • Reserve Table Web Button
  • Only blankets and lawn chairs are allowed inside of Glover Park. Tables, tarps and plastic ground coverings are prohibited inside of Glover Park and will be removed. Rope, tape, stakes, etc. used to section off areas inside the park will be removed. 
  • No tents, canopies or other shade structures, including umbrellas permitted.
  • Chairs (no tables) may be brought and set up in the street on South Park Square after 6 p.m.

Musician Application


We are seeking local musicians to add to our music festival lineup as part of the 44th Annual May-Retta Daze Festival. Singer/Songwriter musicians (cover and original music) are all welcome to apply. Musicians that are selected to perform on the main stage during peak festival hours based on talent/skill, will receive compensation.  Musician lineup is now full. Please try again for our 2021 festival.
